Û Qûi Mîze (/ʊ/ /ˈqʊi/ [coral] [gang]) is a temperate Small Town located in Yimasez̄a Parish, Àsu̹ Ûyu̹ Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Û Qûi Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Û Qûi Mîze was founded by Cúńńnḱ Coú̄ 'Butternut Nova' Ya̋nv Sé̄ Rḗ̄ Glêg̈, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Climate

Û Qûi Mîze has a yearly average temperature of 9°C (48°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -8°C (18°F). Overview

Û Qûi Mîze was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1144, by Cúńńnḱ Coú̄ 'Butternut Nova' Ya̋nv Sé̄ Rḗ̄ Glêg̈. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Û Qûi Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Û Qûi Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Û Qûi Mîze is is constructed arround a semi-circular broad worn bedrock mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Û Qûi Mîze gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

Û Qûi Mîze has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Û Qûi Mîze has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Û Qûi Mîze's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..

In Û Qûi Mîze every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
